Soundstarstudios is your professional recording and multimedia studio in the heart of Munich – in the Westend, at Westendstraße 177, easily accessible and centrally located. For over two decades, we have been the creative home for artists, singers, rappers, producers, voice talents, and anyone who wants to take their vision to the next level.
Our History
The Beginning
Soundstarstudios is founded in Munich. From the very start, the focus is on professional audio production with passion and precision. The vision: a studio that supports artists not just technically, but also creatively.
The Early Years
The studio establishes itself in the Munich scene. Artists, voice talents, and producers appreciate the combination of high-quality technology and personal support. First references emerge – from local bands to commercial voiceovers to up-and-coming rap acts.
Growth & Multimedia
Demand rises, the studio expands. New microphones, preamps, and software are added. Soundstarstudios becomes a hub for podcasts, audiobooks, and synchronization. The first music videos are produced – the portfolio expands to include moving images.
International & Digital
Remote sessions via Zoom, Source-Connect, and Teams become a standard offering. Artists from around the world can be live in the studio – with real-time audio in studio quality. Digital transformation is actively pursued.
Move to Westend
The big step: Soundstarstudios moves to Westendstraße 177 – its current location on the 4th floor. Two fully equipped, soundproofed recording rooms are created, with space for up to 15 people simultaneously. The new location offers room for bands, choirs, ensembles, and large productions – with excellent transport connections in the heart of Munich.
High-End & Dolby Atmos
Investment in state-of-the-art technology: Genelec 8050 BPM monitors, UAD-2 Octo Core DSP, 11.1 Dolby Atmos monitoring with 11 Event 20/20 BAS V3 and Eve Audio TS112 subwoofer. High-end microphones like Neumann U87 Ai, Shure SM7B, and Brauner Phanthera V become permanent fixtures of the equipment.
20th Anniversary
Two decades of Soundstarstudios – hundreds of productions: albums, singles, podcasts, audiobooks, commercials, music videos. An experienced team of sound engineers, producers, musicians, and creatives offering everything from a single source: audio, music, photo & video.

For voice recordings, we rely on high-end microphones like the Neumann U87 Ai, the Shure SM7B, the Sennheiser MKH 416, the Brauner Phanthera V, and the Slate Digital ML-1.
Can I record with my band in the studio?
